The Plasterers Arms, Norwich

Had a few drinks in here last Friday, was cornered by the barman coming out of the loo and he checked my nostrils for remnants of cocaine! Thought this was very rude and also indicative of the kind of clientele the pub attracts. There was a DJ set up in the bar playing some awful music too. Wont be going back.

I heard one of the owners wanted to turn it into a hairdressers. What a merchant!

Thankfully this isn't going ahead and it will remain the best pub in Reading :)

Fox and Hounds, Caversham

Stopped in for a pint here a week or so ago whilst out walking the pooch, never would have stopped in before, the pub is definitely now much cleaner, friendlier, and had some good ales on. There was a nice mix of people old and young and some kids. Didn't come across any intimidating youths, if Grangoo was anywhere near as exaggerated in his mannerisms and attitude towards the the other customers whilst at the pub as he is in his commenting then no wonder he got a few funny looks from the locals!
