Elements, Epsom

Can't really add to what has already been said as it is mostly spot on. I have been here a few times and always when too drunk to know better. It is either empty (looking sad, forlorn and in desperate need of refurbishment) or rammed (uncorfortable and chav city). I'm probably too old for it anyway, I'm certainly old enough to know better.

The Barley Mow, Epsom

Myself and a couple of colleagues visit the Barley Mow at lunchtimes (usually Friday) and it makes a pleasant change from the many faceless, chain pubs that have infested Epsom. My mate says the Discovery is good and I'm happy that they serve Bulmers Original. The food is good, proper chips are always welcome. The landlady (I thinks she's the landlady) can look a bit uninterested at times but she is always friendly and chatty when you speak to her. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub is made up of a few rooms rather than one big area which adds to the appeal. The garden looks good and we look forward to a change in the weather to give ourselves a chance to use it.
