The Curtain's Up, West Kensington

Tucked away this pub is nice and quiet on a week night but doesn't lack atmostphere.

Avoid while the Stella Artois Tennis Championships are on during July as it becomes absolutely nuts.

The Dove Inn, Hammersmith

Lovely little pub with a nice open (gas) fire in the winter and real ales.
Only minor point was a very rude member of staff who when giving us our first suggestion on leaving said 'if you haven't finished in 5 minutes I will take your drinks away'. Poor finish to an otherwise enjoyable night!

Friendly staff, but apart from that it is a fairly average pub
