The Cricketers, Kingston Upon Thames
Popped in the other day, seems like they've had a minor refurb, nothing too extreme, new wooden floor and a new gents (much needed!). Standard beers and lagers (GK IPA, pride, stella, fosters, kronenbourg & guiness), 2 lovely big tv, one in each bar. The staff were friendly and efficient, mixed bunch of punters.
The old Thai chef is back as well so the food is very good.

Biker, Im not following you, honest!
I do drink in this pub occasionally and it does tend to atract a rough, coked up crowd. However, not everyone fits into this bracket and you generally get left alone. The landlady seems OK as well.
I've never watched football down here, so I can't comment on the atmosphere during a game. I also have to say that I've never (personally) seen it kick off in here either, but thats not to say it doesn't have the potential to do so.
The majority of the comments left are fairly accurate, but do bear in mind that this is Norbiton rather than Moss Side! You're not going to get beaten up or murdered if you visit this pub, but then again, theres not alot to draw you there in the first place.

Barcadia, Kingston Upon Thames
Not been here for a while, so I won't leave a rating. Always used to have a good time when I used to come here, when I was younger.
No, it doesn't serve any real ale and it does play loud house music, but that is quite obvious from the outside, isn't it? I think the last review is a bit unfair, as Barcadia is not trying to be anything other than what it is, but as the previous poster said: each to his own.

This is the first pub I ever got served in, when I was about 16. I remember they used to sell Tetleys bitter at 1 a pint! It was very much a youth club back then, and a bit of a sh*thole as well. However, it has changed hands many times since then and is much better now.
I use this pub every now and then, only on Sundays to watch the football and have a game of pool. Nice enough crowd down there and the food looked terrific (didn't buy any, though!). Didn't see any coked up students in there, but then again, It was Sunday afternoon.

This is rapidly becoming my favourate pub. Every time I go, the beer is spot on and the landlady and staff very pleasant. Nice friendly crowd in there too.
Can't quite remember all beers but they included atlantic IPA and a seasonal Twickenham beer. Didn't try the food, but it did look good. Oh, yes, there is a pool table as well.

O'Neills, Kingston Upon Thames
Its an Irish themed pub, rather than an actual Irish pub, but surely we all know that about O'Neills by now?
Its good to watch the football and reletivly cheap for the area. does get smokey though..

popped in for a quick pint just the other day and can't really fault the place. Nice interior, clean and nice staff. Bit quiet, though, but it is a pub next to a station.

This is not a nice pub. It really has very few redeeming features. To its credit, the staff there are very good, service is friendly and efficient, and it is cheap.
However, the customers are a bit rough and ready and, though i've never seen any trouble in there, there is always a vauge feeling of menace. The people who seem to use the pub tend to be the types who like to get tanked up on cheap stella and hang around looking hard in an attempt to pull the rough women in there or to pick a fight with someone. Its all a bit pathetic really as they all should have grown out of that sort of behaviour by now..
Ill give it a 2 out of 10 for the fact that its good value and the staff are pleasant.

An absolute disgrace of a pub. Couldn't find a seat anywhere, piped music WAY too loud and NO real ales...
Ha ha, if thats your thing you'll not get on with this place! I went there on Saturday and liked it, which is a suprise as this sort of this isn't really my bag. Good atmosphere and efficent service considering how busy the place was. Nice crowd there too...
It is rather expensive, mind, I remember paying around a fiver for most drinks and to be honest, I didn't really think the music was all that either.
Basiclly, its a good bar, but not as good as some people are making out on this site.

The Clapham North, Clapham North
places like this arn't usually my cup of tea but I had a good time in here. I found it a bit pricey, but I expected it to be before I entered. Music was good and Bombay Sapphire as thier house gin. I wouldn't make this my local but I'd come back again as its nice for a change.

I really like this pub. Its a bit out of the way and quiet but it's well presented and clean, the beer is fantastic as well. a good find, worth investigating.

really nice, clean, friendly pub. Staff excellent and the beer is good too. Tops for watching sport due to the abundance of screens. boss.

The Albion, Kingston Upon Thames
Actual pub is a bit dull and lacking any sort of atmosphere, however, the Thai food is the best in Kingston and the beer was good. This place is alright...

The Cricketers, Kingston Upon Thames
The old owner is now at the "Honest Cabbage". The Thai chef is, indeed, now at the Albion and the food is still fantastic. New owners here seem fine, staff still excellent, still a cracking pub.

No.88 Bar and Grill, Kingston Upon Thames
Beers were off when I visited but have always been fine in the past. Chap behind the bar very apologetic, offered a replacement before i even had a chance to complain. I like this place.

The Fighting Cocks, Kingston Upon Thames
Good pub for live music and I always have a laugh in here. Drinks are standard for the area (lagers only), staff and clientelle are friendly (the pub attracts lots of alternative types), bogs are grim but the jukebox is very good.
