The Kings Head, Tooting

So... the king's head is back...
and to be fair it's not that different! In fact the main differences inside appear to be that they have filled in a couple of the sky lights to make this already very dark pub even darker and place a tv in a picture frame!

Unfortunately the big screen seems to have gone, but the outside looks better!

Can someone tell me what they have actually done to the place?

The Selkirk, Tooting

Unfortunately theadz01's review is spot on - a great pub - but it seems to be slipping slightly... maybe it's gone and got complacent.

Last time I was in there I was even disappointed with the fantastic selkirk burgers - the burger was half the size of last year and the bun was burnt!

Still the bar billiards is awesome and it has the best beer garden locally!

Hoochimama's Bar Bistro, Tooting

Well I'm going to have to disagree with the previous posts...

I have a few drinks in here every couple of weeks and often some food and have never had a bad experience! Okay, admittedly you're never quite sure which beer they're actually gonna have on tap - but otherwise the atmosphere is relaxed, the people are friendly and the crepes etc. are slightly different to your normal pub fare! It's certainly never been intimidating!

Good if you want a relaxed drink.

Bad if expect a trying-to-be-a-gourmet pub atmosphere.
