The Anchor and Horseshoes, Burpham
Currently has a bit of a beer festival going on and has a super selection of ales that change for something different once the barrel has gone. Only slight niggle is they are a bit cold.
Bar staff are friendly enough but some are a bit slow and seem uninterested.
Food is very good pub meals and popular.
Worth a visit if you haven't been in for a while.

This is my favourite pub in town at the moment. Doesn't look much from outside but a fantastic bar serving all sorts of unusual lagers and bitters. The only 'run of the mill' lager is Carling and they have about 6 more on draught from Germany, Czech and Belgium - including Duval on draught !
Great pub with an amazing selection of beers !

Went here tonight for first time in 20+ years even although I don't live too far away.
Old fashioned pub in good location by river.
Very quiet but clean and friendly. I liked it.
Barmaid was very friendly and good selection of beers.
I will definitely go back again soon

Suffolk Punch, Milton Keynes
Locals pub on an estate. Friendly enough customers and landlord / landlady.
Very quiet when I visited during the week and didn't like the strong smell of cooking fat in the place.
Lager was fine but no real ales
