Dont understand the comments by the fruit machine man. i reckon he was an undesirable myself. Anyway, love this pub. always sport on and the manager and mrs are obviously working hard to look after and boost the local trade. real good sunday lunches aswell.

The Old Ship, Hackney

Often a strange pong in here. Doesnt seem very clean to me generally. Rooms are pretty good though. Havent risked the food.

The Black Lion, Plaistow

must say the cask ales are so well looked after. always a real good pint of ale available and usually plenty of choice. The food is also good. Real home cooked style. very poular for west ham home games but a friendly atmosphere at all times
