Shame its closing down in December, this place ahs alot of history.
Used to be a major metal/bikers pub, new owners seem to have run it in to the gorund.
The bands are fewer and of lowering quality
Really sad.

USed to have great links with the local universities, hopefully with new owners it will be rejuvinated.
Had manya greta night there with the Guitar tec and drum tec ladies and lads :)

Really good band nights on a friday. Shame the left hand bar isn't as cared for as the right.

Under new management, hopefully cna be built back up to what it was 2 years ago. Always a good venue to play, friendly with quiet a mixed clientel from locals to irish to eastern european back grounds mixing happily.
Possibly the ebst live sound system in the east end of London

Worst thing about this pub, the bouncers.
They do randomly pick people they dont like the look of and try to pick a fight with them.
The karoke is good, Kerri ahs the best selection around.
It is a meat market, any women who go there you will eb hit on by sleazy guys and alot of them wont respect your virtue too much.
There was one person killed by being pushed a bouncer last year, they fell and cracked their head open.
Have also seen a bouncer "pad down" a girl paying particular attention to padding her breasts.
That being said the band nights they have are good, not as good as the Loaded dogs but still decent. And they do run a good battle of the bands every year.

Is now a R and B grime pub. Bad atmosphere, seems to be going the same way as Lincolns in Leytonstone.

Shame they sold off over half the beer garden to developers, used to be a good place to go with kids as garden was massive. Is still large though.

Havent been there since the ex landlkord bob died.
It sued to ahve the ebst karoke in the eats end, shame about the copious amont of coke being snorted in the toilet by the locals.
Might have changed last time I poked my head in they ahd a caberet night with guys in drag.

The Fox at Stratford, Stratford
Nice enough, but too stuck up its own bottom for the locals though, is a very suits kinda place.
The Mamby arms also has sky sports and mroe of a workings man pub if this palce doesnt take your fancy.

Nice pub, a bit pretencious about what bands they ahve play there(only the best and all the people off of x factor my grat aunt fanny).
Atmospheres quiet good during the day but have seen too many people with thier heads being kicked in to the pavemtn at 2 am for my liking to stay there after midnight

The King Edward VII, Stratford
The Thursday night open mic nights are great, quiz nights are ok.
Foods a atd pretencious and possibly one of the mroe expensive pubs in Stratford, but thats becuase its the pub with the least trouble in Stratford.
Just be careful of the Italian barman if your taking your misses in there with you, as much as barman are paid to flirt with the ladies he really is trying to get her to go back to his.

This place used to be full of pick pockets and perfect for a punch up of a Friday night.
The foods ok prices are average for Stratford.
Havent been there for enarly a year so could have improved but cant see how

Cauliflower, Ilford
Needs a referb and the management will rip off any band apart from established acts thatw ant to play there(how any band thats starting out can bring down 300 people is beyond me).
The venue is big and the staff freindly enough. Kareoke is decent.
