The Victoria Hotel, Cleveleys

After a long re-consideration of my previous review from last year
I feel now I can only be honest with myself and forward this update of my own personal view of the stated liscened premises as follows ,
the beer on the whole including the lager seems to react on the intestinal tract similar to the equivalent of a very powerful laxative ,
that is of course wholly dependant on you being served with the formentioned ale due to staff either not bothering or tittle tattling in the sportsmans bar,asking to be served which I still believe is a customers right unfortunately is regarded as an insult in these premises and may result in you being barred,which in effect is a bonus.

After frequenting this fortress like establishment I can categorically state that it is in my opinion possibly one of the finest Samuel Smith houses in Lancashire, the drinks are very reasonably priced and the service par excellence,last but not least is the small annexe at the side of the main building the sports mans bar,if the good lord up there ever contrived the architectural design of a public bar then this must be the one,absolutely first class.

The Bispham Hotel, Blackpool

I have been into the establishment on rare occasions and can honestly say that I would personally rather be seated drinking in gods waiting room, the regulars in there gave me the impression they thought I had arrived from another planet& the bar staff so indifferent that i might as well have been totally invisible.
