Food back on, heard they were now trying pastas and pizzas.
DJ on a Friday and karakee on a Saturday plus occasional live music.
This pub has had more lives than a cat but keeps going and seems to have a new lease of life..

Pretty simple really, this pub used to be quite a laugh before this landlord arrived. Now it is an abusive hole where you can't relax, chill or enjoy a pint without fear of being verbally attacked by the boss.
I agree with all previous comments and to whoever the management company is behind the scenes...PLEASE rid Twickenham of this pathetic excuse for a landlord and restore it to its former glory as a fun place to meet, eat and drink. HE IS RUINING THE PLACE!!.
Many friends who are connected to Rugby clubs won't go there anymore, I for one will be joining them.

Agree, the place did seem to be really struggling but pleasantly surprised to see Patrick back at the helm on Friday. The piano and guitars are back; expect some evening jam sessions soon!!
I know people have mixed views about this place but the guys went out of their way to look after my two boys and provided some tasty food at very reasonable cost. After Patrick's electric guitar lesson, my 3 year old didn't want to leave! Hopefully place will survive.

Just read previous comment. Whilst I haven't been in the pub for a while, I agree Patrick and Artur make this place special and they really looked after myself, the wife and kids. I reckon they should be allowed to carry on doing what they do best here and not moved on somewhere else. I hate pubs where the staff are constantly changing, hardly conducive to a good local.

Went in for a late Sunday afternoon meal with my wife and two kids. I must say Artur went out of his way to make us feel welcome serving up some tasty food and even making the kids special babychinos and deserts. Nice to have somewhere in Hampton where you can get a decent feed on a Sunday afternoon and not have to worry about keeping the kids in line!

Have been a few times since it reopened. This is going to be a great addition to Hampton. Patrick and Artur have created a nice atmosphere to relax and chat over a decent bottle of wine. Having eaten in all the other Hampton pubs this place definitely offers the best value and top quality pub grub around. I'll be alternating between here and the Dip most weekends from now on!! Oh and kids are welcome, especially for Sunday lunch...

The Railway Hotel, Hampton
Yeh, leave Patrick alone!! But I agree with DPARTRID, those previous 'managers' hadn't got a clue and did the place a massive diservice.
Patrick and his piano was the only reason we'd go in there. Patrick, thanks for the party on Friday night by the way. One question, are you open or closed??!
