The Manor Hotel, Yeovil

I am currently sat in this hotel/pub haven't been impressed since my arrival 4 days ago. The staff are absolutely useless and haven't got a clue, also the food is nothing special. The only good thing is the beds which are very comfortable, but I suppose it's easy for the staff not to cock that up!!!! Will not be returning. Ever

i love it here! this is one of the best irishish! pubs i have ever been in! the food and ale are both great and they serve the best pint of guinness in the uk!!! well worth a visit! the bands are great on a friday night, the staff are friendly, polite and refreshingly different in comparison to the rest of southend!!!

visited here last night, loved it. the new landlord clearly knows his stuff, the ale was awesome! best i have tasted in a long time!!! and yeah i agree the dog is the star of the show!!! keep up the good work Mick And Ali!!!

Reflex, Southend on Sea

i agree, often there is a bit of a wait at the bar, but having worked in the trade it is easy to see that the bar itself is too small!!! the staff provided the greatest entertainment i have seen in a nightclub. these guys arent your usual in it for the money barppl! they actually seem to be having fun, dancing and singing around!!! a great night out!!! i will certainly be flexing it again!!!

The Trumpet Inn, Ledbury

Stayed here with the family for 3 days in our touring caravan. the food was absolutely brilliant, granted the beer is a little pricey but the wine seemed very reasonable by the bottle. all the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. the manager is a very funny polite scouser with a brilliant sense of humour. the campsite has brilliant clean facilities. the pub is very much food orientated but as drinkers we were also made to feel very welcome. a lot of the locals seem friendly and this is an all round brilliant pub, would definately recommend this to anyone|!!!
