Mark and Sheila have turned the Holly Bush into a warm and welcoming Pub, that serves a great pint and great homecooked food. Long gone are the days of the "Sticky" carpet, now it is clean, comfortable and safe!.....
The landlords started their beer festival in the Autumn, which was a great succsess and showed that they are here to stay, when the weather permits, the beer garden at the rear is well kept and a joy to use.
No fruit machines, no jukebox, no pool table, its the quintessential country pub so well worth a visit.........................................

Met family here for a drink and a snack, comforable, good service and a lovely pint. People should realise the price landlords have to pay before moaning about 3.20...... Timothy is a welcoming man, and only met him once. Keep it up, another landlord!!

Recently we have just been awarded MASTER CELLARMAN by Fuller's. This will hopefully show that we are also looking after our beers as well as our food customers, Quiz night held on the last sunday of the month. 1 per playing guest, total cash prize... Look forward to seeing you all soon, CHRIS BURDETT.

As the Landlord of The Woodcock, I have requested that the comment below be removed as it implies that we are breaking trading standard rules by selling knock off labels as top brands, which we DO NOT do. We are a local couple trying to make a business by providing quality food and a freindly atmosphere to relax in. We have a review coming out in the Surrey Good Food & Drink Guide in November.

As of the 4th March 2008, Chris and Vanessa took over the Woodcock with the aim to supply Good food, Good Beer and a gnerally nice place to visit.. 3 months later, the place is starting to see a steady rise in both meals, and drinking trade. There are 3 different Ales a week on offer as well as bottled and draft beers. And with help from customers, an ever growing wine list. Also, with the addition of the fencing on the front patio, it is now considered very safe for both families and dog walkers. New decoration through out is due to happen soon.... Please try us soon ...
