Just came accross this fabulous pub by chance
Lovely food
Lovely atmosphere
Lovely staff, happy and friendly
Dog friendly, with an bowl of water ready at the door to greet them
Also serves Moorhouse Beer !!!
Will certainly be back

The Jolly Crofters, Horwich

Used to be a great home cooked food pub serving home baked pies and freshly cooked chicken curry to die for BUT since changing hands several times is serving MICRO WAVED pies YUK!!!!!!
One saving grace is that the fish and chips are still good

Bridge Inn, Westhoughton

Just went for a meal this evening
Had a lovely beautifully cooked meal in the friendliest atmosphere
Food was good home cooking at a very reasonable price
Although it was reasonibly priced there was obviously no lack of quality, no cheap ingredients
will be going back again
