i thought it was great,i met a friendly chap in there with his fourteen kids who worked in a fairground and he kindly offered to tarmac my drive for a very reasonable price

enter this dickensian grog-house at 10am on any given morning and witness the debauchery, the despair, the hustlers, the whores, the never-weres and the never will-be"s,the sheer awful lonely desolation of knowing that this is the last god forsaken stop on a journey to oblivion and wonder no more why this once great, proud and truely mighty country is now no more than a rancid pimple on the worlds arse. i loved it

i popped in here a month ago with 2 mates for a swift half before catching a train and i definatly wont make that mistake again. after playing british bulldog to get to the bar with some chav locals who looked as if they hadnt left the building for some years we were subsequently left to rot at the bar for an eternity. when some huge northern women who looked and talked like something straight out of viz did semi acknowledge our existence it took another ten minutes for the foulest tasting excuse for a pint of beer i have ever tasted to arrive. to call it monkey piss would insult our simian friends.when i asked a rather camp barman where the toilets where he looked at me as if id just thrown him off of the x=factor.the said toilets were filthy and swimming in urine and seemed to be a meeting place of some sort with the cubicles full to bursting. as an advert for sutton this pub falls woefully short and me and my companions shall not be returning!

The Black Sheep Bar, Croydon
i cant praise this marvelous "battle cruiser" highly enough, have been a regular for five years now and feel at home. the owners stan and beryl never mind me bringing my dog in,the regulars go out of their way to be friendly (have even joined the crib and darts teams) the choice of ales is more than generous and the food is to die for.all in all a venue croydon truely deserves!
