The Peacock, Bakewell

Popped in today with the Mrs. Mum and dad sat at table outside. Eventually get attention of bar man after all regulars and locals had been served. "Do you serve coffee?" says I. Barman disappears without a word, comes back with a coffee. "I would like two of those please." says I. Barman disappears again this time vigorously shaking his head from side to side, he has still not uttered a word. Back he comes with second coffee and says "Anything else mate?". I order two beers, pays and take drinks outside. I really should have told him I wanted lattes. Bitter very good but won't be troubling him again.

Six Chimneys, Wakefield

Unlike the majority of Wetherspoon establishments I found this one had friendly, polite and helpful staff. The food was served quickly, presented well and very hot. The bar staff that served me were very knowledgeable about the beers they sold. Overall a clean and well managed pub.

The Kings Head, Llandudno

Pub full of character and characters. The best pub in Llandudno. Plenty of interesting items to look at inside whilst sampling the well kept beers. Also a pleasant place to sit outside in the summer.

The Dukes Head, Richmond

Superb traditional pub serving good value food. Having stopped here a couple of times I found the rooms clean and spacious, the staff friendly and the breakfast delicious.
