The Warrington Hotel, Maida Vale
Its local to where I live, but I dont drink here that often. Its got a big bar and if you are in a large group its probably one of the better local pubs but watch out if the cricket is on at Lords as it will be packed

The Coach and Horses, Covent Garden
Great pub with quality staff and products. Beer is good quality and the Guinness is always spot on. I like to stand outside on a summers evening and watch the world go by!

This was one of the best pubs in London. Always rammed with customers, and a great selection of beer. Not any more. Fullers have taken it over and the beer quality and choice have gone through the floor whilst the prices charge off in the other direction. Go if you want to see a great pub interior, but avoid if you want a good pint and a choice of ales from various sources rather than the fullers group.

The Westminster Arms, Westminster
Its recently been refitted and looks better. Beer is generally good and the staff are characters. The French bar man dislikes everyone, the Irish Landlord has never lost a bet on a horse in his life or missed a putt at golf. The Lady Diana Memorial Lake in the gents has gone in the refit but watch the sink tap if you have light trousers. Pricey but the staff provide the entertainment whilst drinking good ale.

The stand out pub for quality ale in London. Often has a Mild which as a midlander is great. Always busy with first class staff and with a different beers ever evening you have to return on a daily basis to keep up to speed.

Sharp is correct "Mein Host" Paul & the brains of the operation have moved over to the other side of New Walk. Its now called The Pub. OOTV had the best beer in Leicester and now THE Pub has the best beer at the best venue. It's the first real ale pub in Leicester to offer some style in addition to great beer. Its always busy on rugby and association days and now with the great range of continental draft and bottled beers could be viewed as one of the best pubs in the midlands. Go to it if you are local but also worth a special trip if you are not.

The Pub, Leicester
Went to The Pub when it first opened and revisited it outside of the rugby season. They had a good mixed crowd of people in on a Saturday night from young local professionals to more traditional real ale fans. A first class range of ale on hand pumps, great European largers, and some really interesting bottled beers that I have not found elsewhere locally. Mein Host AKA The Celler Monkey and The Brains of the Operation have now recruited staff to match the quality of the beer they serve. A vast improvement on "over the road" every City needs a pub like this.
