Uncle Tom's Cabin, Ipswich

Don't know how it happened after last nights game ended up driving from weybridge in a fit of rage, by the time I turned up to this place I was foaming at the mouth, blacked out

When I woke up Uncle Tom was not happy, must gave killed 46 brasses!

Still, nice place, good ales.

Sullivans, Weybridge

Was in here boxing day told all my mates I was in London at hotel, perfect crime got a right old sort in corner, proper ancient: makes my boiler look like a zygote. Anyway had a few good drinks no hand pulled ale but I got nice hand pulled sesh in both gents and disabled, then she did some boat of my crackerbarrel! their wall of fame makes me laugh, and for some reason they have displayed a stratocaster above the bar: used to belong to Fred from rod, Jane and freddy, but still I love sullivans, the staff are very friendly, nice ambience although the decor is like a poor man's Danson. But CHEERS anyway.

The Kings Head, Chertsey

this pub was not bad at all, loads of little coves and nooks to get half cut in. sky sports on the gogglebox, drinks were a reasonable price, locals aren't too bad neither.. with the exception of this father and son double act that frequent it on the odd occassion, they seem to get barred from every Chertsey pub, the son is i think a hairdressers assistant always shouting about arsenal until he passes out and his dad looks like Telly Savalas's stunt double. they do love their football it has to be respected.

this place was not bad at all, its a bit of a shame theres no sky sports, more of a rugby pub now, went there for some gigilos birthday, turned out to be a less than ideal place for boat, doves or brasses. drinks were typical youngs prices, lots of space outside to mingle in summer. downstairs function room is ideal for 60-80 people or 8 raging boat deranged drunks and 1 sober gigilo. overall 7.4/10

The Olde Swan Hotel, Chertsey

i see andy mileham has commented on this pub or "The Mouth" as we used to call him. i also have fond memories of this place, came here with neil morrisey once, he loved it, i thought there were too many paintings of pots in there, the staff were friendly drinks werent too pricey, although one time i went to the gents and someone had left some bangers and mash in one of bogs and were kind enough to put some up the walls, when i told the staff they were not that fussed about cleaning it up.

The Prospect of Whitby, Wapping

this is a great pub, a friend of mine who lives in one of those posh gigilo apartments round the corner from it reccommended it to me, says it features in Only Fools and Horses. nice selection of ales, the rear part could do with a spruce up, great place to go to pick up a brass. not so good for boating,

The Golden Grove, Chertsey

anyone seen that bit in american werewolf in london where they go into that pub full of wierd, (barn full of secret keep it in the family kids), everyone stares at you... music stops playing, somebody misses the dart board, over protective locals, not very welcoming. went on a pub crawl with some limp wristed city boys who promised it was worth the stop, i was climbing the fing walls. murder.... it was a perfect pint pour though and the toilet was very clean

The Victory, Chertsey

i like this pub although my brother does not, we both work just round the corner, good place to take my gilf. some of the locals have a hand shake to firm for me. apart from that good atmosphere

The Crown Hotel, Chertsey

i thought that this was a great pub, friendly manager, puts up with a lot of stick/banter from the locals, my girlfriend thinks she is too old for this pub, she is a bit of a boiler, drinks a tad pricey. good fish and chips. sometimes there are a bunch of rowdy claret topped gooners in there, after a few loud mouth soups they get a bit unreasonable. apart from that i think its a cracking pub, best in chertsey infact
