absolute hole. terrible beer, clientele inbred stella swigging violent chavs. bar staff unmentionablly rude, stupid and slow. would go on but dont need to, dont go unless you enjoy stella fueled violence. a travesty.

its the same pub as the murderers, just a different door. the sign is double sided. very good ales, atmosphere, and wooden beams

The Murderers, Norwich

a huge amount better than the terrible bell hotel (weatherspoons dump) down the hill. good ales for not that much more than spoons (and good for Norwich prices which arent that much better than london ones)
good atmosphere and proper wooden beam pub style interior. bar staff arent that bad compared to the rude raving idiots and inbred morons at the bell hotel.

The Ten Bells, Norwich

good pint of old speckled hen and other ales. good prices and proper pub atmosphere with comfortable seating. right across the road from the art centre, convenient for pre-gig pint.

Eaton Cottage, Norwich

a good selection of ales for about �2. good atmosphere and now has a non-smoking area. not nearly as studenty as nearby pubs.

The Rose Tavern, Norwich

very good selection of 4 real ales, and a bit cheaper than others in the area. good atmosphere with a good mix of locals and students. Kev O'conner DJs "spiced beats and funky grooves" on saturday night, not to be missed but bound to be crowded. nice patio area at rear. just up the hill from unthank road, on trinity street by jenny lind park.
