OK pub, very good ale, prices better than the others in old leigh. Recently has been a target for young males out to cause a bit of trouble. Perfect summer pub with good beers and a brilliant beer garden come car park.

The food here is great. I also must comment on the excellent pint of Greene King IPA I had here. The guinness is well kept and presented. However, I feel the prices are a little high and this is a typical oldies "stella artois" kind of a summer venue.

Since the facelift, this place seems boring. Overpriced beer and trendy atmosphere is balanced by good food, good guinness and brilliant bar service.

awful service, until recently, the beer was awful too, someone must have thought to clean the pipes, I had a pint of Spitfire the other night and it was awesome. Typical Wetherspoons, could do with more staff. Overall, Okay night out if you want it cheap.
