Recently given a bit of a spruce up, The Manor is well worth a visit if you're passing through the area or are just off the train.
The beers are well kept and the guvnor Gaz is always a welcoming host, just as long as you don't give him grief for being a Leeds fan!

A regular visitor and I love it down here. Beer is invariably in good order, and although sometimes service is a tad slow, the staff are always cheerful.
Beer garden is an asset too....
Definitely worth more than a 5/10

Must be honest and did think that once the admirable Lyn and Andrew were forced out, that the Horse would lose a lot of it's charm.
I do have to say that myself and my pal Mad Dog still enjoy our quiet Friday evening tonsil dampeners...due in no small part to the new owners charm, plus the spiffing notion of bringing drinks to our tables too..great idea chaps!

The Cricketers, Kingston Upon Thames
Visited this gaff last night, and overall pretty impressed both with the beer and the service.
Only gripe was the presence of a few local cokeheads doing their thing in the gents.
Whatever ones views on pharmaceutical entertainment, the toilet of a pub on a Saturday night is neither the right time or the right place is it.
Needs clamping down on....

Echoing these recent comments......I feel like a little part of me has died.
An utter disgrace that Lyn and Andrew could be treated so diabolically..
May I suggest that if you get a chance to keep in touch and offer your support for this terrific couple..then make sure you do.
A dark day....that pub is a zero for me now!

Usually head in here post 5 a side down the road with a couple of lads...
Pleasing beers and lagers abound....usually not too packed and seats outside for when the sun is shining.
Top locals boozer...an unpretentious joy...

The Manor, Old Malden
Sadly The Manor is no more...it shut down toward the end of June 2013 and, we think, is destined to be a Co-op store.
