The Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell

This is a fantastic little pub and serves quality speciality beers.

I was very interested to hear that the pub is run by an independant brewery (St Peters) and there was a terrific atmosphere considering how small the pub actually is.

Great atmosphere + great beer = great pub in my opinion.

The Marlborough Arms, Romford

This is unfortunately the worst pub I have been to in quite some time.

There are 2 pool tables and 4 tables (with hardly any chairs). It has not been updated in quite some time.

The pub has good potention, I think it is quite well placed and the internal decor could be updated and turned into a really good pub.

The atmosphere when I arrived was sub zero, I had a pint of fosters (because there was no good beer available) and it was terrible, it hardly tasted of lager any more and the glass was so old you could hardly see the liquid clearly.

I am shocked that there are still pubs like this out there.

The Horse and Well, Woodford Wells
