Olde Boars Head, Middleton

I've been wanting to have a pint in this pub for years. So I was in Middleton and decided to nip in. This pub is very old and historic. It wasn't full on the Saturday afternoon, but the atmosphere was friendly and the Barmaid pulled a decent pint. If you're in Middleton I suggest you try this pub for it's surroundings alone. The interiors exsposed beams and quirky floor and doors are fantastic. Well worth a visit.

The Carters Arms, Middleton

This pub is a freindly Lees house with a good atmosphere. But the Lad who served me needs to learn how to pull a pint of Bitter. He pulled it flat, I prefer a creamy head on my pint.

Harbord Harbord, Middleton

I went in this Pub on the 1st of Ma4ch 2014. Although it was very busy it's looking very tired. The restraunt area is cramped so we decided not to eat there. I ordered a pint of John Smiths and half a larger which are standered Keg beers. The lines had obviously not been cleaned and both tasted flat. This Wetherspoons is in need of a complete refurbishment.
