i brought my partner here for her birthday, the staff were great, really friendly, and the food was pretty good. jut the whole evening was over shadowed by the tool of a manager who seemed to spend all of his time intruding on our romantic meal. checking if the food is ok is acceptable, but i dont need to know about all of your golfing stories...

The Black Horse, Woburn

I adored this place, from the moment you walk in your greated with a smile from the bar staff, with 3 real ales, i was more than happy, trying one of each over the course of the meal, an pleasntly suprised, each one better than the one before.
The food was brilliant, traditional english food with a modern twist, leaving you spoilt for choice. luck you can choose to have most of the dishes as a starter or a main, meaning you can explore more of the menu. Great pub! Great staff! Great beer! and Great food!

The County Arms, Wandsworth Common

Fantastic place, it used to be a bit of a dive, but someone new is deffinatly in charge and you can tell. The atmosphere is so welcoming now, and all the staff are lovely. They have a great selection of beers and wines, the barman recomended an adlestones cider to me, which blew me away. Dinner was great too, i had a perfectly cooked steak, which i wished would never end, and for reasonable a price aswell.
All in all it was a brilliant experiance and i will be bringing all of my friends and family back with me.
