Take back my last comment. The new management went off with takings and stock, now there is another manager, that seems to drink more of the stock than watching his so called staff (tall bloke with wandering hand in till problem while dishing out freebies to his mates and serving up to local junkies).
This pub needs to be pulled down, so the local sniff heads have to go elsewhere..
Mind you, its open to the early hours of the morning, literally up to approx 7 am where you can still get a drink if you are as said, a sniff head...

I agree this pub is expensive, but the food is excellent and not expensive, you get a good plate full that is well tasty�� the staff seem sullen, they need classes as to how to be more welcoming�� if you detract form the rest , it is possible to enjoy an good night here

Personally, I totally agree with the last posting�.. This pub lacks friendly atmosphere and doesn�t seem at all interested in customers�.. Well overpriced drinks ����.

Under new management, about time this pub had a governor that actually is making a difference. Even the beer tastes better as well as a much better atmosphere���� With all the changes and weekend entertainment, I do believe it will become a place to go for all ages.

The once loyal , local customers that frequented this once well known and highly respected pub have seem to have had a huge change of heart.
The landlady has taken up and moved in one of her old regulars (words on everyone lips is , who runs this pub now ???? )
The atmosphere certainly has taken a turn for the worst.
Here you have a landlady that only appears to be friendly.
Has lost a lot of clientele and is rapidly going down hill.
Such a shame !!
