Food is sometimes slow. Busy place and reliable standard in food and beer. Best part, not very smoky. Reminded us a bit of Aussie clubs. And we don't tend to like clubs.

Enjoyed the beer and atmosphere here. Can't speak about the Thai food on offer. Will be better once smoke free.

The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath

Go there regularly and take all my aussie mates. Great food and beer. Only one bad dog experience - and it smelt. Why can't dog owners leave theeir mutts outside?

The Plough, Leigh

Have been there twice - excellent food if you are prepared to wait a little. Beer excellent and friendly staff. Local produce used too!

The Six Bells, Newdigate

have eaten there twice. First time - brilliant meal. Variety and serving size magnificent. 2nd time - not as good. Will give it another try. beers were fine

The Surrey Oaks, Newdigate

Plenty of atmosphere and good beer. Supposedly the regional winner of good food pub guide. Not on my reckoning. Average pub food, good, but nothing to rave about.
