great food and beer and when it's not too rammed it is a lovely place to spend the afternoon, especially in winter when the fires are going.

The Vinyard Lodge, Hurstpierpoint

good food and friendly staff - beer selection's not all that but the wine is fine. Not really ideal for drinking in a pub sense, but fine for pre dinner drinks.

The best pub in Hurst, but that's not saying much! To be fair the people & staff are friendly and the beer is ok. Good place to go and watch sport as well. Could do with a bit of tarting up.
