Great pub-had a top night here on New Years Eve. The manager is actually a decent bloke doing a very difficult job in a very busy pub. Sounds like folk here might have had a few run-ins with the old assistant manager who definitely had a few anger management issues but has thankfully moved on!

Not the best pub i've ever been in but enjoyable enough.Good range of draught lagers and tasty burger last time i was in. fit girlies at weekends too!!!

Hey don't diss the Moth! It's one of the best pubs in Greenwich. Very busy which can be a hassle at times--I'd think twice about ordering food here on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon and expecting to get it before 45-1hr. I went to the pub quiz they have on Thursdays now, which I think must be a new thing. Quite difficult but a laugh nonetheless. Hope the weather improves so we can spend more Sundays in the garden though.

The comment below is such an exaggeration of the truth, I don't know whether I can be bothered to write this-except to say
a) the reserved sign was put on the table saying it was reserved from 5-30 but that "They'd be alright to stay there until 6"
b) one member of the party was told when he came to the bar after 5-30 that he was aware that the table had to be vacated by six and was completely fine with this. All food had been eaten by this time.
c) No-one was complaining about three lots of food being ordered, more that an understanding and agreement that the table had to be vacated by s-i-x, was suddenly challenged.
Love this site but pinch of salt, people. Pinch of that salt yeah?

The Pontefract Castle, Marylebone
Good chance of getting a seat in an area where they tend to be rare (St Christopher's Place). The food is absolutely gorgeous-we had sausage and mash and unlike the previous reviewer-they were hot! The upstaires bar is a great place to enjoy an after work drink or twelve.
