its not exactly closing though is it? its been brought out and i bet that all the same people will be down there everyweek.
u wana see a pub full of chavs, why not take a trip to cheekees.
the toad may not have been 'chav-free' a while back but it certainly is now, hey u get the odd one or two but doesn't everywhere?
and as for all u ppl sayin the djs r crap.... thats called one thing.... jealousy. they r both good dj's and like one of em said, if he was so crap the toad wouldnt be full every fri n sat nite......

empty....? i don't know about it the week, but it certainly isn't dead on friday and saturdays nights. its busy, often with q's of people waiting to get in.

this que pasa thing don't sound too good....
looked at the website.... hmmm, pretty crappy place if you ask me. the menu has weird drinks on it like frogerts or sumthing.... god all we want is a good old vodka n coke!
bet fri/sat nite, will be sooo crappy. will the old djs be stayin or gettin in new ones?!

Na not too fond on the blue, its alrite for a drink or two but not to spend the whole night there....
looks like its off to windsor or kingston for me when the toad eventually goes!

u say its not closing down n that Tim Bird says its closin and openin up under some 'Que pasa' bar, which in my opinion don't sound too good.....

can you tell me briefly on here whats happenin at the toad...i heard its being closed mid-feb for a refurb & openin up under a different name. will it be the same fri/sat nites? same staff?

' there have been more incidents at the toad than any other venue in staines so far this year '...... where do you get sort of information from? because i have been going to the toad on and off for the last year & yeah theres been a few fights (but which pubs dnt ave these?!) but theres not as much as every1 makes out. i dunno why the toad has such a bad rep, its not all that bad!!
