great pub. spacious, good bar staff, nice big sofas, pool table. and a big garden out the back. one of the best places to go for a drink in stokey.

Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington

nice bar, not too busy, average danceable party pop tunes. but not very interesting clientele. i'd advise going there if you're with a large group of friends wanting to party in N16 after all the better places (e.g. the white hart) have closed.

Ryan's Bar, Stoke Newington

dreadful place. we waited for our thai food for over an hour. when it arrived it was alright but more expensive and not nearly as nice as the thai food from the coach and horses round the corner. the toilets are a disgrace. the music was some loud clanky hillbilly rubbish.
if you want amazing great value thai food in a friendly pub go to the coach & horses on stokey high street instead.
