The Jug and Jester, Leamington Spa
Easily the best Wetherspoon's I've been to. Tim Martin should take some pointers from the staff here who are on the whole, very good indeed. The re-furb took a little while to get used to but it has given the place a real lift - the pub is very popular and attracts a real diverse crowd. I'm quite picky with pub grub and would never even consider Wetherspoon's fodder; however the food here looks edible!

The Cask and Bottle, Leamington Spa
Been here a couple of times and it's really a locals pub - felt quite unwelcome on both visits. The toilets leave nothing to the imagination if you like peeing right next to another bloke with no divide between the trough. Oh and I nearly fell off one of their infested stools when the barman announced that it was �5.50 for two diet cokes! Joke.

The Star and Garter, Leamington Spa
Had a cracking New Year's Eve here. The staff were all in fancy dress and the place was absolutely heaving, but the level of service was exceptional - I swear I saw one barmaid floating she was that attentive. Still the No1 pub in Leam.

The God-awful pits of a place. The bar staff are some of the worst I've ever come across, with the exception of 1 really pleasant girl who won't last cos she's probably gonna go back to Uni. It's a typical spoons with sticky floors, rank food and dodgy punters. Avoid at all costs!

The Shakey is a cracking pub. It looks superb from the outside, a very prominent old style building and the decor and the layout inside is decent enough. It's fairly clean, with really cheap beer and the food is extremely good value. One downside - the female bar staff are incredibly moody!!

The best pub in Leamington, friendly staff, really nice mix of punters and a resident doggy - shame the price of lager is sooooo damned expensive!

The Newbold Bar and Brasserie, Leamington Spa
This place has closed down yet again. Real shame, nice pub and they used to provide great food.
