Handy for Euston or St. Pancras.
Good selection of beers, in particular honey dew, although it is at the pricer end but I suppose that's the location for you.
Friendly and quick service. Open plan is a bit souless and it's difficult to have a conversation when it gets busy.
Overall, a good experience.

Sadly it's no longer run by the mother/daughter team and consequently this pub has gone down hill. New owners have tried to jazz it up by adding purple LED lights but it looks tacky.
Popped in yesterday to find two of the four lagers off and only one ale, a bit poor really especially for a Wednesday afternoon.
New owner also has an attitude problem. Tried to charge me 3.80 for a half pint lager. When I queried the price, rather than just apologise for the mistake and refund me, he got abusive.
To be honest, there are several other (better) places around King's Cross to drink in which don't try and rip you off. I won't be going back.

The Lucas Arms, Kings Cross
Not been in this place for a while, as there is a large choice around King's Cross, but not much has changed. It was quite busy but the background music was far from background and made it difficult to talk.
The beer selection is pretty standard fare, two or three lagers and three or four ales including Old Golden Hen this time. When I got served the pints came with heads over 1.5 inches deep, and a polite request to top them up got a snotty response from the bar tender, though they did eventually do it. On the next round the same thing happened again. When you're paying for a pint you should get a pint, not something with the head almost a third he way down the glass.
Nothing special, and the short pints really annoyed our group, hence the low score. Personally there are better places close by.
