Pretenious overpriced "food pub" (as it calls itself). Below average and overpriced food, rude and incompetent staff who think the place is the best thing since sliced bread, overpriced drinks. Avoid it.

This classic pub has just been refurbed and has lost all of it's character and charm. It's bland, anonymous and just plain awful. Now complete with fake fireplace and a bookshelf painted on the wall - nice!

Nice local bar, could be busier most of the time. Pity about the food. Ordered a burger today and it came out in no time at all, but unfortunately not cooked properly. When I complained, I was told "the burgers come like that". If that is the case then how about stating it on the menu? I sent it back to be cooked more, and it still came back underdone, and with the same chips (now cold). I paid up and left - yes, they did CHARGE me for it. If you like red raw burgers, then this is the place for you. Next time I'll walk the extra 10 minutes to McDonalds - a quarter of the price, and at least they cook theirs.

The Orchard, Shepherds Bush
Great pub and friendly staff. No food on offer, but then again this is a PUB and not pretending to be anything else. We go there regularly, and the staff know us all by first name and make us feel genuinely welcome.
