The Saxon Mill, Warwick

Beautiful building, wonderful location, friendly staff. The food is rather good & the restaurant area overlooks the river so is quite delightful. A little more expensive than average but undoubtedly worth it. To be honest I feel like I'm treating myself when I go there, even if it's just for a pint. Defintely worth going out of your way to visit.

The Voodoo Bar, Leamington Spa

Great to sit outside in the Summer, not so great to sit inside in the Winter. A bit too expensive & a bit too loud, but a pretty nice bar overall.

The Star and Garter, Leamington Spa

Very fine pub indeed. It has a lovely atmosphere that hits you as soon as you walk in. There's a lovely long bar so no crowding, many small & large wooden tables to sit around, a pool table & football table, a good jukebox (sometimes a little too loud) & a nice view out of the large, open windows. The food is pretty nice, the landlady is a stunner, the landlord is a good lad in his own quirky (grumpy) way. A pub doesn't get a great deal better then this. Catch the pub quiz on a Tuesday night, great fun & free food thrown in at half time.

The Newbold Bar and Brasserie, Leamington Spa

Mainly an eaterie pub - the food is a touch more expensive than the average boozer but in my experience is always rather good. Very little space to sit if you're not eating. As of March 2009 appears to have closed down but there is no official confirmation either way.
