Just to reiterate.....rumours of underage drinking/cocaine evidence are just hearsay--no evidence whatsoever--thats why the landlord, John, at huge financial risk to himself is appealing the LA/police to impose totally restrictive conditions on the pub licence----

Steve Dawes, for those who know/remember him is very ill indeed, and is not the man with the dog. Alan has Mia the gorgeous Alsatian dog. Alan might be rough and ready but he is loyal and honest, in his own way. Stuart is sometime lodger at the NH......keep fighting guys-----appeal date early October, so post to save this quirky litle hostelry!

Take it from me John is not going anywhere. He has not lost his job--he is still the landlord. The pub is NOT going to close.There is no evidence whatsover that underage drinkers have ever been served alcohol--notice that that the local rag writes 'teen drinkers' ie 8teen+!! And yes--minute traces of cocaine as in every pub in borough. We are fighting to keep this pub--help us please--sign pour petition and letters in pub.
