The Sandacres Free House, Sandbanks

Was slightly put off the Sandacres by the way it looks from the outside so was very pleasantly surprised when I popped in for a drink a few weeks ago. Staff were friendly, drinks were good and very reasonably priced for the area.
Yes it could do with a bit of a facelift but that might lead to it being infested with luvvies and personally I prefer it the way it is!

The Old Thatch, Stapehill

Went to this pub ages ago for a drink and thought it would be good to go back for sunday lunch. Service was good but food was very disappointing - especially considering we went about 25 miles out of our way to get there.
Unfortunately I won't be going back :o(
