Goose At The Fighting Cocks, Moseley
I heard this place is being done out byt the people that did the White Horse in Leamington Spa! I hope so, my sister lives in Birmingham and I really like the White Horse! Does anybody know if this is true?

I like this bar, it has a really lovely garden for the summer. Staff have always been really lovely to me, I think its ridiculous that people get called stuck up just cause they dare to take pride in thier appearence - thats the only crime I can see them commiting - being good looking and wearing nice clothes!!

The White Horse, Leamington Spa
Its a shame JonnieB had some bad experiences here. I have to say he must just be unlucky as this place has become my new local and I have never had anything but a fantastic time here. Staff are all gorgeous and so friendly and helpful. They normally do check back, perhaps they were busy. Even so, if he had said anything Im sure they would have been more than happy to rectify the situation. I have to say though, I dont see how he can call the menu pretentious - whats pretentious about a fish finger or sausage sarnie? I have always had great food and value for money, and the range of beer is fantastic! Stunning furniture by the way, love the wallpaper, I want it in my room!

Unbelievable! Finally popped over to see my sisters new local after she has been raving about it for the last two weeks! It is by the same people as my fvourite leamington haunt, The White Horse, but even better! I never hadthe misfourtune of going there when it was a goose but my sis says it was a dive. Its beautiful now, with undeniably the best garden I have ever seen, with plenty of heaters for when no smoking comes in. That place is going to be rammed come summer! One thing I particularly liked - when it starts to get really crowded they stopped letting people in, what a good idea! I never had to wait to be served and we had a table to sit at. Some people kicked off but I think it made the place so much more comfortable. Didn't spot one chav the whole night, but it wasn't stuck up either, like alot of the other bars in moseley. And I had the biggest apple crumble I have ever seen - homemade! I will have to spend more time at my sisters place I think! I want this to be MY local!
