Saved me a wasted journey. Travel to the cock inn around the corner to find they were not serving Sunday lunch. The menu was the same but quality was excellent roast beef and lamb served with fresh vegtables and roast potatoes. Lovely sponge puddings to follow. Also had very nice pint of real ale.

Drove all the way from London to find it had changed hands and no food was available the first Sunday in may. Had a good pint in the garden but seemed run down.

The Gate Clock, Greenwich
Thought I was going to get a Christmas dinner but it was not on the menu instead we had a steak and kidney pudding and egg and chips. It was cheap at £8.50 ish. But it was a long wait and the egg and chips were cold. The steak and kidney pudding was not bad even if it had a slightly greasy taste to it the peas were good and chips only tepid but edible.
The beer was only £2.70 a pint for 4% real ale called Mrs Claus it was a good ale.
It was a busy pub with quite a good atmosphere and a lot of staff who were quite helpful. As it was so cheap it is hard to complain as you can get much worse in a local cafe.
