The Boogaloo, Highgate

I cannot see why people slag off this joint, it can only be jealousy, its a top place, gives us amazing shows, its unpretentious, the knockers are obviously phillistines and dumb, with 'a local pub for local people' type mentality.Well the press and the hordes who throng there can't all be wrong, on the contary they can't seem to get enough and neither can I.

Do'nt be so anal mate, its one of the best rock n'roll bars to ever hit London,being a seasoned fan of all things Boogaloo, does it really matter if they open the doors a few minutes late, like saying 'wish the Libertines were more professional', thats life mate but obviously not like you like it .

I read that article when in Ireland, it really was impressive, did'nt realise how big a name Filthy's was, I will always treasure those nights all those years ago.
