Pleasant staff. Bog-standard prices for this kind of place in this area. No shortage of braying suits though.

No doubt about it, it's massive place with a huge selection of beers. The ones I tried were particularly poorly kept though. Seems to be inhabited on a Friday evening by people in suits who insist on blocking the walkways, then looking at you as though you just killed their dog when you try to get past to go for a slash. Went to the Nell Gwynne afterwards for some civility.

Over 7 quid for a single G&T?? I'm not exactly tight, but does that seem a touch excessive to anyone else?? You can get decent value food when toptable do a 50% offer though.
Generally it was designed for people with wallets larger than their brains.

Frequented by the type of scumbag who's not even aware that Elizabeth Duke jewellery is considered a joke by the rest of civilised humanity. Standard booze on tap at inflated prices for the aforementioned idiots, who are probably just glad to have a youth club that serves alcohol.

Pretty much everything you don't want in a boozer. Bad food, indifferent drink, very average service, people stealing bags everywhere. There are much better places in the very near vicinity. Surely a place can only get so much kudos for a location on the Thames!

To be fair to this place, it does serve a purpose. It's ok to go for a few reasonably quiet drinks on a weekend evening and I've had a few good nights in here. It's clearly never going to be a real-ale lovers paradise.
There are, however, a plethora of orange women (the oompa-loompa look has never done it for me) and men with too much hair gel. Therefore, Saturdays can be a bit of a sausage fest with gelled-up geysers in stripy shirts looking for the aforementioned tantastic girls.
The doormen are always very polite though.

Very friendly owners and quite an unsual place, but worth a visit. Gets busier at lunch times than in the evenings.
