The Wagon and Horses, Clevedon
The type of place the Krays might have frequented, need I say more?

Still probably the bes pub in Clevedon, now with new owners Tracey and Joe who are doing a good job of sprucing the place up.
Menus a bit lacking but the Sunday roast is supposed to be good, also tasty rolls behind the bar and hot dogs during the footy, all for a quid.(Oh and they sell awesome pork scratchings!)

Bit rough and ready but not a bad place for a beer....in the evening.

Foods cheap and pretty good, not sure what the place is like in the evening, I would doubt that it was un-inviting

Hideously overpriced food, I went there a few years ago to a wedding reception and was served the smallest glass of wine imaginable!

The Old Lock and Weir, Hanham Mills
Lovely old-style pub, well worth a visit in the summer when you can sit outside by the river.

Agreed with brodie, nice place but don't bother with the food, very expensive.

The menu is very good, two meals for 8, I always plump for the NY cheese-burger, a real belly buster. The Landlords a right miserable sod but the pub's not a bad little place, live footy, pool tables, jukebox and fairly reasonable prices

Closed down about a year ago, the place was supposed to be turned into flats but still lies empty.

The Five Alls, Chepstow
One of my favourite pubs from my Chepstow days, always lively and a good selection of beers.
