The best Orpington pub by a distance. Tucked away and better for it. I enjoy a pint of Adnams and was welcome enough. Don't want to damn with faint praise it really is a nice little pub.

Hadn't been in for some time. Such a pleasure to find a pub that hasn't 'modernised'. Just as I remembered it. Two bars and lots of local photographs. A really friendly place and the welcome I felt was genuine. Visited on a Sunday and had an honest to goodness Sunday roast - as much as I could eat and good value too!
I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

The Bulls Head, Pratt's Bottom
Very busy when we visited, but got a friendly welcome. Good atmosphere and will be back.

I've been back to this pub, and echo comments above. Definately on the up - parking not great, but atmosphere is. Nice atmosphere and the beer great.

The Rock and Fountain, Well Hill
Good location. Good garden for children. A bit sterile I thought inside, but made welcome nevertheless by staff who tried hard.

Listed building and very attractive. Seems to have changed hands since last I was there. More restaurant atmosphere than pub, but made welcome enough. Will go back again.

A pub I return to. Great range of beers. Staff are warm & welcoming. Certainly a locals pub, but a good atmosphere and I never feel excluded from the company.
Food always looks good and I note that the locals eat there too!

The Rising Sun, Kemsing
Such a lovely little pub, seemingly in the back of beyond, but really not too far away from civilisation. Ale wasn't that good, but I feel like I could forgive this place anything - well almost. Could do with a bit of a spruce up to be honest.
