The Moon on the Hill, Sutton

Escaped from All bar One opposite, had a bitter, lovely pint and much cheaper than opposite. Thanks.

All Bar One, Sutton

Popped in last night for a pre-party beer and found the prices horrendous and the London Pride bitter very, very weak - popped over to Weatherspoons opposite and was much happier.

The Amato, Epsom

Popped in for a quickie and to check the name on the well for Derby Day. Good drink as ever but wrong name on the well!!!

The Marquis of Granby, Epsom

Popped into the Marquis last night for a quick two before going to the theatre. Much prefer the old name of the Marquis rather than the flutter!! Very busy due to Derby Day but the Pimms and beer flowing well. Got served after one person, excellent. Good range of beers as ever but the Bud budvar was off - never mind this time, not surprised though due to busy busy. Barbeque on the side, good food, excellent as normal.

The King William IV, Mickleham

Excellent pub hidden away behind Frascati restaurant (too expensive in there)!!! Steep hill, no parking and get there well before midday for a seat. Food excellent and just what you need after a morning hiking over the hills as the main trade seems to be.

The New Inn, Sutton

A super litle pub, Paula & Mick very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful place to watch any football matches, but be there early, as its fills up very quickly. Good screens for viewing, beer garden to get a breather and excellent food and beer, even though predominately a Chelsea pub, locals very fair.

The Volunteer, Sutton Abinger

I remember this pub for years back when we used to visit on a Saturday or a Sunday with the dogs, having a massive ploughmans and the dogs by our feet with their own bowl of biscuits. Having visited recently and taking lunch, the menu has been michellined somewhat - more expensive but good fare, but no ploughmans!!!!! Still very welcoming and very busy at the weekend, get there before midday at the weekend to get a seat!!!!!!

The New Town, Sutton

Having been a local of the Newtown I was disappointed when turning up for an England game and found no decorations and about two people in there. We managed a quick half and then piled over to the Little Windsor up the road - shame such a good pub has been left to rack and ruin!

The Little Windsor, Sutton

Excellent pub, away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Good food, good drink and good atmosphere. Excellent seating area on a split level outside. A lovely gem!!!!

The Richmond Arms, West Ashling

Have discovered this wonderful village pub with real ales and its own traditional skittle alley. The new owners have got everything spot on, from the excellent food to guest ales during the different seasons. St. Patrick's Day & St. George's Day was well celebrated and there is a weekly quiz which is very popular. Even though the village is a close knit community, I have found the Richmond Arms always welcoming on my visits whilst commuting from Selsey to London and back.
