Sunday Lunch time. Ordered Ringwood Best Bitter but then told it was off. waited a long time to place my food order. Then got to carvery and no Lamb. Spent 25 for 2 not to get either the beer or food of my choice and the wait a long time for the pleasure. Won't be back based on this experience.

Beer! The choice is good with a choice of guest ales with you can sample before buying. After all we are discussing a pub and the nation drink of England! Ok the sign is faded and food itsn't 2 for 10 agreed.

The Merry Fiddlers, Fiddlers Hamlet
Shame as the pub has been there for over 100 years. The bar area is small with separate dining area. Large kid areagarden.
Green Kings IPA & Adnams so yet again the usual suspects.
Seems to be popular with Tradesmen in week and families at weekends. One pint was enough no plans to return here.

The Seven Stars, Chancery Lane
Visited Wedesday lunch had a pint of Hop Head. The glass was flithy. Bar staff appeared to be doing me a favour my serving me. The actual pub is historic but very small i am sure any busy time you will be forced out on to the pavement. The experience could have easierly been made more pleasant. 4/10 just because of the state of the glass.

Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth
Have visited this pub many time over many years. The Real Ale choice (12 at the time) is outstanding which is the biggest influence for my rating. Expected a mixed bag of patrons. Food was reasonably good certainly better than average. If you want choice of Real Ale this is the place to go.

Visited on a Saturday in 2010. Had an excellent pint of Young's Bitter and consumed in on the rear patio and enjoyed the vista. Would visit again.

I visited in 2010 on a Saturday lunch time. The interior was quite tired looking without the quaint well worth charm. Choice of beer poor and the music was strangley loud since there were a few people in the pub. One drink was enough and that's a bench mark of any pub as i enjoy my beer! I live fairly locally, too many better pubs to make any effort to return.

The Kings Oak, High Beech
Not what i expected, the pub has changed somewhat from my previously visits to a bar. Emphasise seems to be on fooddinning. I think the bar caters for more glamerous people. Good location though especially now the council is redeveloping public area outside of the bar. Bring back the pub!
