Cracking little local pub with fine ale. Landlord and staff very pleasant and i had a lovely lunch in a well attended garden. Looking forward to a return visit

The Captains Cabin, Piccadilly
decent pub with well looked after ales....even the bar staff were smiling and fluent in english. Definitely a place i'd return to with guests

The Anchor and Hope, Salisbury
by far the most welcoming pub in salisbury, good selection of ales all well kept and a friendly bunch of locals who are happy to indulge the roaming traveller....cracking juke box too

Have been popping in here when in the area for many years and was pleased to feel welcome in the new surroundings. The beer was good, and the staff attentive and friendly. The pub was warm and comfortable and stylish. Will be going back to try the food but as it was, a great place for a quiet drink away from the town centre

met my brother and an old friend in there who i hadnt seen in ages and had a great sunday, the lunch was wholesome and tasty although the roast spuds looked bought in(or the chef starts them off in the deep fryer?) But the staff were great as was the ruddles...nice to see somethings dont change. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in welcoming surroundings

greeted by a barman who complained quite loudly that he should not have been there and filled in the gaps with his rude comments to waiting customers....in his defence he thought he was being witty but after waiting ten minutes for the next drink, listening to this same banter and inability to change gear and look after his clients it was time to leave and take my appetite elsewhere. What a shame, this guy should get a job he likes as he ruined what should have been a nice sunday afternoon in a pub i like to visit when i'm in the area

Popped in a few saturday nights ago and was treated to a full house with entertainment. The staff were busy but extremely polite and the real ales (greene king plus guest) were top notch. Decided to stay for the evening and liked it so much i returned on the sunday for roast dinner....the striploin of beef dinner was the nicest i'd had in a very long time.

The White Horse, Cranbrook
Met up with old friends who recommended we come here as it has recently changed hands. We were welcomed with top form real ales, a great lunch and decided to stay for the evenings live entertainment which was a real treat, the place had a fantastic friendly atmosphere and my wife enjoyed the Stowford press cider so much we decided to stay in one of the very comfy guest rooms upstairs. All round good value for money, great ales, superb food and friendly staff. I'll be back!
