Angies Freehouse II, Westbourne Park
Oh, and as of November 2012, sometimes has a real ale on hand pump. For Halloween 2012, Hobgoblin was on at around £3.00 a pint.

Great pub. Cheap - November 2012's prices include just £3.10 for a pint of Guinness, 50-60p cheaper than the Union Tavern across the street and the Westbourne 3 minutes away at Westbourne Park Tube.
Friendly bar staff and all sports shown on TV. Very cosy on a winter's evening.

On the third day he [Mr Stack] rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into W11 and is seated at the right hand of the tube station.
He has come again to serve beer to the living and the dead!
And his kingdom will [hopefully] have no end!
Amen.

Great pub for watching sport. spacious, lots of screens and good beer selection (lots of 'continental' lagers, 2 ales etc). Friendly crowd, landlord is bald white guy with paunch (as of of May 09), comes across as a bit abrupt but is actually okay.
Best all round pub (atmosphere and price wise) in Ladbroke Grove.

The Royal Oak, Harlesden
Very friendy pub run by a lovely Irish lady (50-ish, blond hair) and her friendly staff.
Cheap prices (£3.10 for a pint of Guinness in November 2012) and open until 1.30am at the weekends, which is a bonus if you fancy a late drink.
Mixture of predominately middle aged Irish and West Indian customers, though late Friday/Saturday night post midnight there is often a rush of younger, trendier English people who are clearly young professionals now living in the surrounding area looking for a late drink.
All round, very friendly and much better inside than it looks from outside.
