excelelnt breakfast in the morning and we had some great ale the night before, as well as juicy tender steaks

perfect hosts too

things are definalty looking up here

a fantastic new winter menu

you have to try the pigeon salad, mine was delicious

always a great welcome and some great real ales

change of managers and a change of menu

all that can be said is good

food was great, service fantastic

things can only get better for this pub and lets hope its soon back on an even keel

The Mill at Elstead, Elstead

was taken here for fathers day. what a pleasant treat it turned out to be. arrived at 1pm to find the pub in full flow, extremely busy would be an under statement. what choice on offer, upstairs carvery, garden menu, pub menu and daily specials, all very reasonably priced.
decided to eat in the lovely surroundings of the garden,4 of us in party,as i said it was very busy so decided to order immediatly. to my surprise all our food arrived within 15 minutes.
i chose homemade crab and salmon fishcake salad, my wife had whole lemon sole and my son and his wife had BLT salads, all the food was hott and excellent espcially my fishcakes.
food and drink are very reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and effeciant.
this is definatly one pub i will be returning to very soon.
