The Old Maypole, Ilford

Great beer and food prices. Interior is nice enough. Have eaten here on numerous occasions and it has always been nicely cooked. On the whole, bar staff are friendly and I have never had to wait that long to get served.

The Old Maypole, Ilford

I have been to this pub a couple of times and was impressed on both visits. The inside is nicely decorated; the food was great and it was well priced. No complaints on the beer, how many places do a pint of Carlsberg for �1.79
The staff were also friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

The Palm Tree, Mile End

The Palm Tree is a pretty cool place, especially when the jazz is playing. The most annoying thing about it though it the random pricing and over pricing. The middle aged guy with brown hair (who i think is the landlord) is the worst. On a few visits i have placed the same order and never received the same price, it could vary by 2-3 pounds on an order of 3-4 drinks.
