Seem to have got themselves sorted since the previous reviews.
Service prompt and organised despite being full. Food good. Beer (Adnams Bitter & Adnams Explorer excellent.

A proper pub, not a restaurant masquerading as a pub. Welcoming staff. Decent fair priced food.

The Moon and Mushroom, Swilland
We went there on Tuesday lunchtime, the first time I had been back since the change of landlord.
I found it perfectly acceptable. Landlord was reasonably welcoming, the beer was good, ploughmans OK (the ham excellant), and very pleasant to sit outside under the vines.

The White Horse Inn, Exning
Went there at lunchtime - beer and food were fine, and the landlord very welcoming. However we had the misfortune to be served both food and the second round of drinks by the landlady for whom everything appears to be too much trouble. We won't being going back (unless I here they have divorced)
