visited here yesterday, typical O'neills, good pint of Guinness, expert attentive staff and tv's everywhere showing sky sports. Only downside, the toilet is a sponcered walk away upstairs... but I'll be back

visited here yesterday, nice staff nice pint of Carling, shame the tv only shows sky sports news as there is a William Hills accross the road... I'm sure the place would be packed if they got At the Races on. worth a visit though, I'll be back.

not the best pub we called into on our xmas crawl yesterday 22/12/2010. Just off Piccadilly Circus, it was full of tourists and the beer is three pound odd a pint, average for the area. We've been here a few times as it's near our favourite curry house (spice bazaar, rupert st.) and it's always busy and never had any issues with the place.

Decent pub, two pound odd a pint, just off Oxford St.... what more do you want ?
This was the starting point of our xmas crawl, interesting stained glass windows and quick service, I will be back.

Called in here yesterday as part of our Christmas crawl of 6 pubs in the area, this was by far the worst. Not impressed by anything. seemed to be an extension of the Royal Mail Canteen. Barmaid totally focussed on her newspaper. I won't be back.

Had a couple in here yesterday 22/12/2010, very impressed, fast friendly service and nice atmosphere. Duke of York up the road is worth a visit too.

Had a crawl around a few pubs in the area yesterday 22/12/2010 and this was the best pub of the afternoon. We felt very welcome, pub was warm with a good atmosphere. It was very busy but got served quickly by lovely bar maid, (She did a very good xmas tree on the top of my Guinness) stayed for more than the one pint we were going to have. While you're in Rathbone St try the Newman Arms 100 yards down the road... we also had an extra pint in there too.

I moved into the area last year, tried most of the pubs, this is my favourite. Called The Old Fox these days, its a clean and tidy place with nice staff and a great pint of Guiness. Dog and child friendly with a nice garden this pub is a traditional style pub with fresh food served on volcanic rocks. Havent tried the food but it gets good reviews from the locals.

The Freemasons Arms, Covent Garden
visited here yesterday, not particularly impressed, worse pint of lager I've had in a while, got it changed but the replacement wasn't much better. Place was full of people waiting to go to the masonic temple over the road from the O'Neills.... they would have been better off in there.
