Just looking at the reports and abit hit and miss, shame that so many have posted so much online about the kings head and no one can say all good about it. I think that the owners only want to get as much money out of you but not listen to the customers.They are the people that spend if they like they stay if not they walk. So come on listen

Its now 19 jan 2011 and we have a new landlord and lady Andy and christina. And it looks good so far they have been in for about 2-3 months and looking good.

Its me Frank Adams ex Manger just to say keep going to this pub its still as good as it has been,i still go now and then,and enjoy a drink.Food is good the beer is very good and Manager and Staff very friendly.

Hi its frank Adams ex Manager of the KINGS HEAD yes its me poped up to say Hi I ran this house from 1997-2000 when i packed in running pubs.Now i have a life to live.But back to the KINGS HEAD it has always been a great pub when we had a England football world cup match We would take about �10,000- �12,000 a match,no problem at all.the food was good and at a price you liked,the food is good now but just differant.The pub has changed but everything changes it fills alittle empty then i remember but that might be me.But still you should go and try for yourself......

The Ladbroke Arms, Notting Hill
I worked here in 1981-83 when Brain & Liz Short were the managers my name is Frank,I was there when we did a scene for The Love boat, Also we did a commercal for Fosters Larger.It was a very good pub it was used my the old bill across the road and lots of tv and film stars use it. Food was alwas good for such a small house

This pub has been waiting for a good landlord and lady and now we have them.George and Mandy,Its been about three years now and they have turned the pub around,good clean beer, good food at the right price.Sunday lunch is well used so if you want to book make sure you do not leave it too late.
George & Mandy put onant type of fun that works for the locals if just for the fun of it,or if they can raise money for a charity.So if you are looking for somewere to go you can look no more its THE GOLDEN LION,STONEA......

I my name is frank i used to work here in 1983 with the manager paul kline he was an assie was never their, was a great pub then as maybe now it had aupstaires then not used as it should have been but a great mix of regulars from alsorts of life,it had alittle court yard out back open to the sky.
